My name is Nikki, and I’m a campaigner, organizer, and storyteller.
Nikki Koutsochilis is an expert campaigner and has worked on grassroots, issue based and electoral campaigns. She has a deep love for strategizing, developing creative campaigns; and is unapologetic when it comes to moving past tokenism, and bridging the gap between underrepresented communities and electoral politics.
Nikki has worked as an organizer and multimedia communications professional, crafting scripts, issue briefs, developing GOTV and persuasion messaging for the BCNDP during their successful 2017 Provincial Campaign. As a digital storyteller, Nikki has come to work with a number of progressive organizations, unions, and individuals.
Nikki advocates on workers rights, and social justice issues as a delegate to her local labour council; and was recently appointed as to the Racial and Ethno-Cultural Equity Advisory Committee with the City of Vancouver. She is passionately involved in direct action with a Vancouver-based migrant justice collective; on evenings and weekends you might find her connecting with migrant agricultural workers, or dancing at QTBIPoC events.
I approach my work with an intersectional feminist, decolonial lens, that prioritizes long-term sustainable growth while meeting your immediate campaign or organizational needs.
I provide consultation on the following topics:
Decolonizing Governance Structures
Community-Led Policy Development
Diversity & Inclusion
